For carriers, FourKites offers a variety of tools and API functionalities such as FourKites Connect, Dispatcher Update API, and a few more to help you leverage our platform better. You can use FourKites Connect to connect your company's ELD/GPS provider and similarly, using APIs you can update loads in bulk, assign assets, and much more.
We have rolled out a new and asynchronous version of the Dispatcher Update API. This version provides more flexibility for load identification, asset assignment, and additional update features.
Note that new carriers must use the asynchronous version of the Dispatcher Update API and not the legacy version. The legacy version of the Dispatcher Update API can be used for existing integrations only as a reference.
